Question: Work online, work from home ideas...anyone?

I am a single mom of three.. I work about 40 hours a week.. but, I am looking for more..but no time. I would love to spend all of my time off work with my kids. I am looking for something online that is not a spoof or a trap. I have no college education, but graduated highschool. any ideas? what do you do? thank you.

You will likely get scammed. I want you to read an article by the CNN guy Clark Howard. He tells about possible ways to work from home, like being a customer service rep for a credit card company or an airline. He has set up a list of "possible " legitimate work at home ideas. Go into business for yourself... find something you like to do as if it was brick and mortar, then take it online. Me, I had a bookstore, brick and mortar, but couldnt get net access to put it online at the time. Cant now, either; too broke.

You could find something you're good at making and try selling it at the local market etc. My mum grows plants and sells them at the market...

It took me a couple years to find just three legit work from home companies, one I got into and am very happy with. First things first- do lots of research, and I mean more then Yahoo Answers. Protect your computer and your SSN. Scammers want to get into your computer or want your SSN so protect them both. Research wise I work from search engine towards a phone call. You want to know where the company is located physically, and who owns the building its in- do they have a concrete sign out front or a card board sign behind rented glass? How long have they been around? Not that all start ups are cons but I went with proven history and a track record over over two decades. You want to know how much they made last year, and how they made it. To find out some of this you might want to talk to people- listen to them, are they slick professional sales people or normal people trying to make a living, do they use fake numbers, or real phone numbers. Does the work from home have a werehouse of people talking in the back ground or kids and the Backyardigans? Think about it. Ive wasted alot of money on the internet trying to find legit work at home opportunities! From surveys to reading e-mails its just not worth it for me! This past december i started working as an affiliate and im starting to see some good results! Its not easy you have to put time into it but you can pretty much get started with no money.! You just need a computer of course!
